eBay Hosts Workshop on New International Visibility Feature

The upgrade is only available in Online Auction or Fixed Price (Buy It Now) selling formats to sellers with a minimum Feedback Score of 10 positive. Sellers must be PayPal Verified and must use PayPal as the payment method, and International shipping costs must be specified. See eBay's website for details and restrictions (http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/international-site.html ).
Sellers still have the option of choosing World Wide Shipping when listing on eBay.com for no extra fees, but their items don't show up on another international site unless buyers specifically look for international items using Advanced Search features.

eBay is hosting an online workshop on May 22, 2008, at 10 am PT on the topic of its new International Visibility upgrade, which rolled out on Tuesday to the four sites affected: US, Canada, UK and Ireland. The optional feature allows sellers on eBay.com and eBay Canada to pay extra to get visibility on eBay UK and Ireland regular search results, and vice versa. (Each country has a separate fee; in the US, it ranges from 10 - 40 cents per listing.)
